Good Substitute to the Full Size I purchased this as a Christmas gift, and didn’t get to try it out until today. There isn’t a whole lot to say about it. Construction-wise, it’s fairly sturdy. However the unit I received had a broken plank of wood on the underside. It’s one of two pieces that travels horizontally. The nail they drilled in broke a piece of the wood (or particle board I should say. The tabletop itself is fairly thin. I wouldn’t suggest putting anything heavy on top of it. The balls and the cue sticks are all very solid. The pockets are actually nets, which hold about 4 balls each before they overflow and have to be removed. Aside from that, it’s a nice set if you don’t have the room for a full size table. It’s certainly better than those travel size ones that are unsuitable for anyone who’s not a little kid. With this one, you can almost emulate the feel of playing on a regulation size table. I got this during the Black Friday deals and paid about $50 for it. Fair price I’d say. Overall:…
