There are a lot of people who really love to play pool, but don’t have either the space or the money to have a full size pool table in their homes. A great option in these situations is a miniature pool table. Mini pool tables are available really inexpensively, and they take up very little space.

Most miniature pool tables are made to sit on top of a regular table. They are about half the size of a real pool table, usually about four feet long instead of nine feet long. The best of these tables are sized proportionately so that it still feels like you are playing a regular game of pool. Playing on these tables can be just as fun as playing on the larger, regulation size tables, as many people find out when they give them a try.

Because mini pool tables come at such low prices (usually between $50 and $200), they don’t always come with quite as many extras as some of the larger versions. They pretty much always come with at least two cue sticks, chalk, and the balls that you need to play the game. Be sure to check out the quality of the items that you are getting though, since some of the more expensive options come with accessories that break easily and are not all that well made.

The great thing about miniature pool tables is that even kids can easily play since they are smaller in size. Regular pool tables are so tall and the cue sticks are so long that it can be hard for smaller children to play. The mini tables make it so that the whole family can enjoy the game.

Storage is simple with these tables as well since the tables just have very short legs because they sit on regular tables, or else have collapsible legs. It is easy to find the space to keep these tables when they are not in use due to their compact size. You can use them in a game room and leave them out, or pack them up and just take them out when the urge to shoot some pool comes.
